A Little Bit About Me
In the name of Allah the Compassionate, the Merciful.
I am 25 years old and I live in a small town in East Texas called Overton. I live with my mother and I have two brothers and two sisters, I have been a muslim for about 2 years now and I enjoy and love Islam very passionately. I also serve in the United States Texas National Guard have been for the past 4 years now, and only 2 more years to go. I hope one day (Insha' Allah) to attend an Islamic School to increase my knowledge of Islam and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW). I have a very big goal of becoming a Scholar of Islam, and to travel the world teaching others about the wonders and miracles of Islam. Now a little bit about the kind of person I am. I am a very patience man and I don't get anger to often, I enjoy reading the Quran and other Islamic books, also spend alot of time learning about history. I am very simple when it comes to things I don't watch a lot of TV, but there are somethings I enjoy watching. I like some sports but I don't get all emotional about it nor do I see the point in things like that. I do not smoke nor drink or go out to bars or night clubs, in fact the only time you would ever find me in a bar is if my friends were there. Even then I do not enjoy being in that kind of surroundings, I will not listen to any kind of music that talks about drugs, killing, sex, or that has a lot of fowl language. Rap and hip hop is not for me. I do not care for things like gambling, porn, cruising of chicks, and smoking pot. I try very hard not to waste my time doing pointless activities that will break the law or get myself or someone else hurt, I do not attempt to do things like driving fast cars, hunting, fishing, pulling pranks on people, or doing crazy stunts, I spend most of my free time learning about Islam and other religions, I pray 5 times and days and I keep to myself mostly but I also enjoy meeting new people. I am the kind of person that will talk to a perfect stranger, and I enjoy seeing people smile and making them smile. I try very very hard not to say bad words but sometimes one or two slips out. I fear Allah very much and try each day to please Him. I do like to dress nice but don't see any reason to wear all that "bling bling" stuff, I keep it simple but classic. I believe in discipline and manors, I am a neat freak, I believe that one's home should have a little class to it, not to big on the single look. Last apartment I had you would think that a woman lived with me but I was all alone. I do believe in waiting to get married to have sex, and plan to stick firm to this. Understand that Islam is my life now and I want to continue to live and Islamic way of life. I want a partner that wants this same kind of life style. I am not a rich man, but I do what I must when it comes to paying my bills. I seek to find or more less trust that Allah (SWT) will send me the right woman to be my wife, because I tell you now sisters I trust Allah in everything I do, and hold firm to the belief that nothing happens unless Allah wills. This is who I am and this is who I will be. To whoever Allah wills me to be join in the act of marriage I can promise that I as a husband will fulfill my part in the marriage and do whatever must be done to ensure my family is well provided for, good or bad. I will always remain faithful and true to my wife and the vowel of marriage. I only seek in return love, compassion, loyalty, trust, honesty, and support. All this you shall have of me. I love my life and I love my family, and I am thankful for all that I have good in my life and thankful for all that was bad in my life, because it made me stronger and brought me closer to Allah. I welcome each new day as a blessing from my Lord, and make the best of whatever comes my way. So now you know a little about the kind of person that is me, I hope that reading this was a worthwhile experience. What I Am Looking For
I have given this section a lot of though, and I realize that it may or may not offend some of you, however I do believe that a level of standard is required in detailing the kind of partner that you seek. After all this will be the person that Insha'Allah that you spend the rest of your life with. Being "picky" is just part of the plan. What I seek in a partner is someone one who firmly believes in all Islam teaches us from how to dress and act to how to treat others. To understand just what Islam is. they must have a strong desire to seek out knowledge to become a better muslim. Not just a level of knowledge that "might" be enough but a level that is beyond that which is considered to be "normal knowledge". The kind of partner I seek is one who understands the five pillars of Islam and one who prays the five daily prayers, and pays the Zakat. I am looking for a sister who wears the hijab and is proud of this and who she is, she should strive to better herself and have a respect for herself and others. It is important to have good respect and modesty and integrity. I hope to find a sister that has an incorruptibility belief in Islam, and all that it stands for. Maturity is important, but not saying that a sense of humor isn't required. A sister that loves to smile and laugh, a sister who is patience and calm. One thing that causes more problems in this world is impatience, Education is important, however it is not my nature to say only college grads need apply, knowledge can be obtained without a degree from some college. The kind of knowledge I look for in a partner is on of the spiritual level. I want to find a sister that is self confident but is not so confident that she doesn't ask for help on things. Someone who is dependable and loyal, the cheating thing is not a quality I admire. I seek a sister who can not only be a good mother, but a good wife as well, someone who I can open my heart to and know they are listening and have a caring heart. My partner should feel safe around me and trust me as well as to make me feel safe and trustworthy of her, she should feel as if she can tell me anything. Above all she should be every so fearful of Allah the Merciful. Pretty much what I look for is someone like myself which should be clear in the above statement.
