What I Am Looking For
Something I read really hit home and I would like a life companion who has the below similar aspirations insh'Allah👇

From an early age we’re taught about the notion of “falling in love,” but if you think deeply about those words they’re quite telling of why so many people in the pursuit of love end up injured, broken, or traumatized.

Rather than falling we should be rising in love; rising in our heavenly aspirations together; rising for prayers together; rising against all odds together; rising to action to help one another, etc.

This requires using one’s intellect before one’s heart. It requires imposing standards & conditions to prevent blindly falling for another. It requires boundaries and discipline. And most of all it requires ardent, sincere, and faithful intention to love ONLY for the sake of God.

Any other love comes with risks of not just falling but perishing along the way. When we love someone for beauty, we risk being faced with ugliness every day. When we love someone for wealth, we risk being impoverished in every way. When we love for status or noble lineage, we risk being orphaned or going astray.

But love for the sake of God; love for the sake of companionship for Him and towards Him, is unlike any other.
▪️
It is the anchor of two hearts tethered by the rope of God that is firmly secured against life's turbulent winds & raging waters.

So turn off the Hollywood/Bollywood love stories, put away your fictional romance novels, and stop listening to sad love songs & playlists; they don't want you to fall in love, they just want you to fall & hit rock bottom so you continue to consume the lies they peddle.

Pursue love like it's a vehicle to Paradise. And seek a partner who is just as eager to get there, at any cost & through any means, as you are. Together you will weather the storms and reach your final destination, in sha Allah!
