A Little Bit About Me
So where to begin? :)
I am currently working as a Physiotherapist Mashallah. I feel I am very fortunate that Allah (swt) had given me the opportunity to earn a living and be able to give back to society in a small way which can have profound effects on people lives for the better.
Having said that stereo-typically 90% of people think all we do is massage. We actually do lots more exciting things especially like having to get unwilling and stubborn aunties out of bed on the hospital wards to go for a walk ;).
Personality wise I think I’ve got a good sense of humour, am always smiling and love having a laugh, but I feel I am humble at the same time and appreciate everything I have been given. I'm generally light hearted and known for cracking a few jokes but definitely can be very mature when the time comes. I am also close with my family who are educated and Islamic.
Some hobbies of mine include:
- Watching movies (Friday nights will probably result in pizza, snacks and a good thriller. We can flip a coin for Bollywood if it takes your fancy ;)
- Love food, (Slowly ticking off all the burger joints in my area)
- I Try to go running and gym regularly, (got to practice what i preach as a physio right?)
- Also want to travel to many more countries, and experience different cultures. (Dubai and Turkey are first up.)
I have also never been in a relationship before, nor do i go clubbing, smoke or do shisha. Yes ladies difficult to believe I know but we do exist ;)
Overall people would describe me as a very considerate, thoughtful and caring person. I'm simply looking for someone Islamic to get to know, care for and most importantly have a blessed and long-lasting relationship with.
What I Am Looking For
Essentially looking for somebody genuinely searching for a lifelong partner inshallah, who I can (as cliché as it is) be my best friend. it will be a bonus if she's funny ;)
Someone who I can trust implicitly and makes a conscious effort to stay on the right path.
Someone like me who strives to become a better Muslim and preferably someone who is educated (doesn't have to be university) and can maintain a conversation.
I am more than happy for her to continue studying/ working, i feel in the 21st century relationships should be 50/50 and I would want her to continue doing what she loves. I also feel she should be treated with respect and made to feel special.
Appreciation and commitment is also important and works both ways, I can wholeheartedly say i would try my utmost to keep her happy :)
In no particular order personality, compatibility, faith and family are what I am looking for in potential matches.
Thanks for looking. If i'm not the guy for you then happy searching. Inshallah it works out for you!! :)
