I'm a passionate dreamer in search of genuine friendship, from which true love could blossom.
I’m the kind of person who can delve deep into serious, meaningful conversations one minute, while being an absolute goof the next.
Being open-minded is crucial to me, and as a proud weirdo, I love seeking out unique and obscure knowledge. I tend to find poetry in a lot of the things/beings most people pass by, dismiss, or even fear, and often marvel at the beauty that surrounds us ; very much so like a child would.
What matters to me is genuine exchanges over trivial ones, that allow for unapologetical authenticity and vulnerability, for better or worse. I want a chemistry of the minds that translates into hours-long conversations, during which all topics could be addressed in confidence, and respect.
I value people who balance thoughtfulness with authenticity, who show open-mindedness and respect yet allow themselves to think outside the box and to feel comfortable in their own paradoxes, in spite of the potential judgments they may consequently face. I also appreciate those who know when to stand firm in their beliefs, and when to bend when life humbles them.
I thrive on good banters and can have quite a cynical/dark sense of humor at times. I am not afraid to laugh at myself and love teasing my loved ones. I would rather interact with a person who can take it in stride, and knows how to play along and clapback with humor.
My home is my sanctuary, a retreat where I can truly unwind, free from the clamor of the outside world and its demands, both spoken and tacit. It's a space where I can authentically express myself. I cherish the moments spent in my personal bubble, and as an introvert (INFP), would need my partner to be understanding enough to allocate me some time to myself so I can recharge my batteries.
In spite of my homebody tendencies, I also happen to have a very spontaneous side. I love to indulge in atypical adrenaline-pumping activities that fuel my adventurous side (the more unusual, the better !). I also happen to be a travel enthusiast. I would love a partner who shares this passion and is open to diving into such experiences, whether it’s skydiving, or stargazing and taking an impromptu swim in the middle of the night, in spur of the moment !
I also find joy in the simpler pleasures of life : the delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries, the rich flavor of butter chicken, a good ol' pad Thai, or a delicious DG chicken, the striking beauty of thunder, the soothing sound of owls hooting, the peaceful feeling that comes from diving deep into the blue immensity of the ocean where stillness reigns, or the warm embrace of my loved ones...
I’m not after perfection, but my definition of an ideal : a connection where we can flourish together, being each other's confidant, shoulder to lean on, and helping hand when life takes unexpected turns. I long for a partner who understands my silences as much as my words, a companion whose long-term aspirations resonate with mine, someone who will be wholeheartedly committed to this journey until death, do us part.
