A Little Bit About Me
I took Shahada on September 9, 2001, two days before 9/11. It was a difficult time to come into the religion but I took the opportunity to share as much as I could with others about my new faith. During this time there were many organizations contacting our masjid asking for representatives to come and speak about Islam. I was very blessed to have the chance to go and speak at universities, churches, and conventions. It was an amazing time in my life. Now I am working in the healthcare field and stay very busy between my family, work, and taking care of my house and garden. I have one son who is 11 years old and he is the light of my life.

What I Am Looking For
I am interested in meeting someone who shares my religious beliefs but who can also understand my background as an American. I grew up in the US and I am a very independent woman.
