A Little Bit About Me
Salam,

I am a practicing Muslim and do my best to pray on time, read Quran and follow Islam. I graduated with a Masters in Civil Engineering at the University of Strathclyde and worked for a Civil Engineering contractor shortly after graduation. I then decided to move to Surrey where I currently work as an Engineer with the Local Authority. I made this decision as the job market in Glasgow declined due to COVID 19 at the time. I exercise regularly to remain fit and enjoys hiking and watching documentaries for relaxation. I am forever a student of knowledge of Islam as well as worldly matters and loves learning new things to sharpen my mind and to become better than yesterday.

Things were tight whilst growing up due to only dad working at the time and so every penny had to be accounted for. As a result, self discipline and hard work were instilled in me at an early age.

I am not sure where I would want to live in the UK. I might move back to Scotland as the cost of living there is low in comparison to the rest of the UK (free education/free dental care until 18/free eye care and more) as well as to be close with family. Potential spouse should be willing to relocate, as will I, when necessary.

Looking for a spouse to complete the other half of my deen as per islamic scriptures.

I have now accepted a job in Glasgow and so will be moving there in August 2023.
