A Little Bit About Me
Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu

I am a practicing Muslimah that follows the Quran and sunnah. I strive to better myself by gaining knowledge of the deen. I am born and raised here in Canada but I am originally Ethiopian.

I am currently working part time as a PTA. I am taking a semester off school, so I can save up. Inshallah I do plan on continuing my last year of my undergrad as a part time student this January.

Growing up I've traveled a lot and Alhamdulilah I enjoyed it. Just being able to experience other cultures is an amazing opportunity. I would be be interested in travelling to a Muslim country for a few years in order to learn Arabic, Quran, etc.

As for my personality, I am a social individual that enjoys being active in the community. I am pretty laid back and open minded. I love sports, but sadly there are not many accommodations available to Muslim women. One of my goals is to change that with the help of Allah (SWT).

Overall, I enjoy the little things in life like simply taking a walk outside or just being in the presence of family and friends.
