A Little Bit About Me
I'm going to try my luck again and hope that this time my marriage will be a blessed one.

Currently I'm in Washington (since last year) but have lived in New York my entire life.

As much as I dislike to speak about this, thought I should be open here and let you know that unfortunately life had unexpected surprises for me as I went through a very unpleasant experience from my divorce. But I believe Allah has reasons for everything and I have learned to let go. I have a beautiful 1 year old daughter who has kept me really strong. She's one of the greatest blessings that I have from Allah. Her father does not live in USA.

The word "divorce" has such a heavy feeling in the heart. I heard stories about it but never imagined it happening to me. Not because I'm special in any way but because I had a dream just like all other girls for my marriage to be filled with love and all beautiful things. I mean, I always knew marriage was not some fairy-tale. It requires a lot of patience, tolerance and selflessness but nonetheless, I expected it to be a blessed one.

What I Am Looking For
Everyone has flaws and shortcomings but I'm looking for someone who's honest, knows how to respect others, has good morals, is God-fearing, understanding, has love for children, educated, committed, responsible, mature, who will care for me, value me, and most of all someone who doesn't give up and refuses to let the relationship fail. There should be no option to back-out of marriage. Once it's done, you have to maintain the relationship forever.

I don't just expect these values in my partner only. You can expect these values in me as well. Marriage is not about "me", It's about "we."
