I genuinely believe in the kalima and I try my best to please Allah SWT. I try to learn right from wrong through the Quran and Sunnah and try to apply it to my life.

I recently graduated and have started working as a design engineer in Houston. I believe it is best for society if women are educated. I also think it is best for society and family life for the women to take a very active part in raising and caring for the family. More than likely I will continue to work until marraige or children and reconsider working after the children are in school.

I like to spend my free time with my family because they are the most important people in my world! My hobbies include reading, doing mini-projects in the house and doing active activities. I find most things interesting and I like to explore the world and love nature. I enjoy community service events, museum outings, parks and traveling. I also like to volunteer at the masjid. I read Quran everyday, at least a few pages. I like to keep fit by running and working out.

I try to be a kind and understanding person. I value honesty and try not to cheat or hurt other people. I think my greatest blessings are to be guided by Allah SWT and to have such an amazingly loyal and virtuous family Alhumdulilah. I try to protect my family and keep them happy. I greatly enjoy the simple pleasures and consider myself extremely blessed Alhumdulilah. I want to live a simple life.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a man who is a believer and tries his best to follow Quran and Sunnah. He should be a practicing muslim and have amazing character. I would like for him to be able to lead me and our family in Islam.

He should be prepared for marraige and have thought about it's responsibilities. I would like to have a successful and healthy marraige and he should also be willing to work on the relationship to keep it healthy. He should work to provide but not make work more important than being a good muslim and spending time with his family. It's important for him to understand that I am not perfect and that life will bring hardship.

We will get along better if he is educated, open-minded, cultured and understanding. He should know his fard and priorities in life and try to live accordingly. Also, we would get along great if he likes leading a healthy lifestyle, both through diet and excercise. I like people who are constantly trying to improve themselves. Ideally he will prefer and value simplicity.

Besides the above qualities my ideal husband would meet two requirements. My parents want him tobe a US or Canadian citizen who already has a job in the US. I stongly prefer someone who actively volunteers at the masjid.
