A Little Bit About Me
I am revert to Islam. My foundation is in the Quran first, then the 5 Pillars. And that is where I root my beliefs and understanding of others beliefs in approaching Islam. As it is Clear, there are many different ideologies within the Ummah. I pray Salah 5 times a day sometimes 6. I make Dua continually. I do not speak or read Arabic, but I want to learn. I do not listen to any Secular music. I love to hear recitation of Quran , especially by Naseer Al Qatami. I do not know a lot of Hadith by heart, but I do read them but many I do not understand. But, I use miswak, fast, eat dates and almonds, do not wear perfume in public, eat halal as much as I understand it and and able to, and I am trying my best to do more. I have 2 kids, a 12 yr old boy and a 3 yr old daughter. Their fathers are not involved at all. And they were result of "false marriages" by law and by lie. Allah is 1 in my life. My kids are 2.
