A Little Bit About Me
My daughter is beautiful, funny and educated. We are a good family looking for a suitable match for her.

She is has a BA (home) in American Literature and History and is working in Marketing.

She is a wonderful, loving girl who is not interested in the process of families coming to the house to check her and out after she's served tea in the traditional manner.

We are a moderate Muslim family and she is a non hijabi. She's reads quran and prays (not all five). Our religion and Muslim Pakistani identity are very important to us.

Both my husband and I were born and brought up in the UK and we are a educated forward thinking family who just want the best for our kids.

Our daughter is the eldest of four children. She had a great relationship with both myself and my husband and we are friends and parents to her. She has a wide circle of friends and a good social life. She is well travelled and has been on family holidays around the world and more recently with her sister and friends.

She loves good food and can cook. She has an amazing eye for fashion and has a great sense of style. She's also hilarious.

The only reason I am adding her to this platform is because although the world is smaller place because of technology, our lives are not as intertwined in our community as they were when I grew up. Everyone is busy and weddings - were most matchmaking by mummies used to take place - are now limited to invitations for two people.

My daughter has had lots of rishtas but she's not clicked with the guys. Marriage is for life (I hope) so I don't believe there is a rush. However, I do want her to meet Mr Right. So maybe this will work!

An educated easy going guy who has good family values.

We are not too concerned about castes etc. We are Pakistani Punjabi and ideally someone from the same background would be fabulous. However being Muslim is the most important factor.
