A Little Bit About Me
I am a Muslim Malay, normally use my internet names halsai4 and halsai, a graduate of University of Leeds, England 1984 in Microbiology and with uncompleted postgraduate research courses in vaccine development at Reading University in poliovirus vaccine and Leeds University in herpes simplex sub-unit vaccine,. 47 yrs old, 1.70 m height, 6o kg in weight (with Body Mass Index, BMI of 20!), with graying dark straight hair, may still be considered handsome, with brownish yellow skin, once married for only 1 month 1992-3.
I am an extrovert, able to start conversations with total strangers, like to read on among others Islam, comparative religions, current affairs, politics, business. I was active in student associations and Islamic societies at universities and currently a life member of the British Graduates Association of Malaysia.
Used to work with a Japanese firm in Malaysia as one of their managers, had 4 ½ years teaching experience in a private Islamic foundation school in Karsiyaka, Izmir, Turkey. Had experience doing business in Turkey, European countries, USA, Ghana as well as People?s Republic of China.
As a former businessman, my major interest is to read about and understand developments of companies, especially internet-based companies.is the most interesting to me more so than Microsoft. Within the last 10 years Google has developed into a company with more than US$150 billion in market value. This is very impressive and as far as I know that has never been a company that has achieved so much within that short period of time. For this reason, I have been using almost all its internet programmes.
Currently unable to work due to collar bone fracture and dislocation at C1-C2 and have to wear neck brace and therefore medically unfit to have employment. However, still active in a few business especially in internet-based networking business. I have been active in politic in Malaysia via the Malaysian Islamic party, PAS and the People?s Justice Party and under perhaps 24-hour surveillance by special police officers since 1998. I aspire my country to be ruled by proper Islamic Laws for the Muslims and in the long run all Muslim nations from Morocco to Indonesia, Malaysia, East Turkistan/Xinjiang to be united in the form of a truly Islamic Caliphate (Khilafah).
Able to understand Turkish, able to read and write Mandarin through self-learning. Active in doing Islamic Da'awah to Malaysian Chinese (mostly strangers) especially through dissemination of selected translations of verses of the Qur'an in Mandarin and impromptu friendly discussions with them. AlhamduliLLAH, I have distributed many thousands these selected translated verses of the Qur?an in Mandarin to many thousands and as a result had opportunities to have discussions with probably a few hundreds Malaysian Chinese as well as a number of China?s Chinese while I was doing business in China.
(PLEASE NOTE that I am not able to upgrade membership since my all my business endeavours have been illegally blocked and sabotaged completely by the Malaysian Government for my involvement in the legal Malaysian opposition political activities since 1998. This is the price I have to pay for fighting for justice.)
