A Little Bit About Me
I am a college educated, outgoing, witty, funny, nuturing, caring, dedicated Hijabi. I have been a Muslim all of my life and strive to be a better Muslim everyday, Inshallah. I am a career woman but also understand the importance of my one day role of being a wife and mother.
I enjoy traveling (just got back from Hajj; it was AMAZING!!!), working out, live performances, comedy shows, theater, dining out, cooking, learning new languages, reading, socializing with friends and learning about Islam be it through reading Quran, Islamic classes or attending lectures .
I have no children, do not smoke or drink and enjoy living a halal lifestyle(ie, I guard my chastity). I am looking for a brother who is of a similiar mindstate and lifestyle.
I understand that this dunya can place all types of distractions in front of you but I am looking for a strong Imam to lead my household and that brother is someone who can withstand the tempations of this world and stay focused on being righteous in the eyes of Allah (swt). What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a brother who is able to take this deen seriously and strive in the way of this deen but still be able to balance this life and the next. We live in the this world so I will be looking to find someone who understands that and is able to strive to have the best in this life and the next. The brother I am looking for fears and loves Allah above all things. He is a brother who is stable spiritually, financially, mentally and emotionally. He is a non-smoker, a non-drinker and has no children. He understands his role as a Muslim husband and father (Inshallah) and he takes that seriously. He is also someone who can appreciate a good laugh and play with me and any children we may have. He can appreciate the lighter side of life as well. I am looking for balance.
The brother I am looking for is kind, intelligent, confident but not arrogent, he has a great work ethic, he is a good communicator, honest, loyal, dedicated to his family, mature, a great provider, funny and appealing to my eyes.
