Well here goes looking for a life partner to experience what the world has to offer.

I am a confident professional woman and mum. I’ve had a varied career so far. I trained as a nurse and midwife before relocating to America. When I returned I took on a teaching role and followed this with becoming a teaching support coordinator.

I also love being a mum! I have a fabulous 20-year-old son, who has grown into a brave, independent and thoughtful young man. He has a bright future ahead of him and I am very proud.

My faith is important to me. I am a practising Muslim and practise/observe the pillars to the best of my abilities.

My family is important to me. I am the eldest of three and have a lot of cousins, nephews and nieces. We not only have fun together; we support each other through good times and bad.

I have seen many corners of the world but there is still so much to see and do! I love getting out into the countryside, taking long walks or just spending time in my garden. Who doesn’t like watching movies?! Movies and books are another pastime of mine.

Life has taught me to become a resilient lady. I know I can work through any challenges as I've had a fair few.

Despite all that I'm told I am a kind, supportive, strong and independent woman. Having an honest, caring, open relationship is what I cherish. I do not care so much for superficial or material things in life. Love and trust is what I value.

My dream is this:

To have a relationship where making each other happy is the most important thing. Giving each other the space and support to develop a long lasting relationship

I want to feel the excitement of new love every day where we are trying to impress and make each other smile just like the first date but maybe without the butterflies!
