A Little Bit About Me
Good-hearted. Respectful. Loyal.
Happy with my family, friends and career, I feel it is now time to try again and find a suitable husband In Shaa Allah; so I am giving this site a go.
Here's a little about me...
Personality wise, my heart is always in the right place and do believe in what you want for yourself, want for others. I am patient; you have to be when you're a teacher! I have been called Monica because I am a bit of tidy and clean freak!
Currently I work as a Deputy Headteacher and find it extremely rewarding! I have a thirst for knowledge and believe that it is one thing that no-one can take away from you and can only bring with it good. I have been very ambitious in terms of my career-17 years of teaching this year but I also know how to balance this with family, when family comes along In Shaa Allah, I know where my priorities would be.
I like to have fun with my family and friends, doing the usual: eating out, cinema, gym, shopping, sports etc...At my age the friends that I have now are like family and keeping in contact with them is important. My family is where my heart is so mutual respect for families goes without saying.
I enjoy outdoor activities too such as: long treks etc. Travelling is something that I would like to do more of, having spent a year in Belgium (putting my French in to practise many years ago!), I had the opportunity to experience a few other European countries and would love to see a lot more-worldwide. South Africa has been my most recent destination! I also love a good book (I am a bit of book worm, but sometimes life gets a bit too busy!). I enjoy watching sports and I do support a certain football team...YNWA.
I was married 9 years ago for a short time (Qadr Allah) and I now feel ready to move forward. More information on this will be shared privately if needed.
I do practise my faith step by step but always ensure the basics as can be seen below such as salah, fasting, etc. As for culture, I do not have an issue with following traditions as long as they don't contradict the religion (I do not partake in milads, khatams, birthday celebrations etc). I do wear a headscarf (not jilbaab etc) with Western clothing. I have been fortunate enough to perform Umrah many times and Hajj in 2018 Alhamdulillah.
