A Little Bit About Me
As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barrakatuh,

I’m a first generation Italian-American originally from Queens, NYC who now lives in the Boston area. I became Muslim 16 years ago. I’ve been on Hajj, I pray 5 times a day, I speak a little Arabic, I memorize Quran. I grew up a devout Christian. As a young adult I realized Christianity was not the religion of Jesus so I prayed for the truth and came to know Islaam.

I have an 12 year old son from a previous marriage who lives with his mother. They are both Muslim. He’s a wonderful young boy who would help anyone in need.

Since my divorce I also took care of my parents who both passed away. My Mother, may Allaah have Mercy on her, said Shahadah on her deathbed and was given a Janazah and buried as a Muslim. My Father who died 6 years later refused to become Muslim, but he and I maintained a great relationship and friendship.

What I Am Looking For
I left Christianity because the Christians replaced the Religion of Jesus (Eesa), peace be upon him, with their Shirk (Polytheism), their Bid’ah (Innovated Acts of Worship) and their Kufr (Theological and Philosophical Heresies). I did not come to Islaam to adopt or accept the same

I am not here to judge individual persons, but I must use the Quran, which is the Furqaan (the Criterion to judge between right and wrong) and when I clearly see someone believing or practicing what is wrong I must be accountable for my own soul and not follow that or have my future children raised upon that.

Having said that, I am only looking to marry someone who is religious in accordance with the Sunnah and understanding of the Sahabah, prays everyday and wears hijab. Also one with good character, empathetic, merciful, compassionate, understanding, loving, caring, kind and considerate. I also need there to be some degree of mutual attraction so that an intimate and romantic companionship can flourish.

Another issue is that I would like to have at least one or two more children if possible so if you’re not interested in having kids please know that is something I don’t want to compromise on. I hope for much Guidance and success to you all.
