Im a friendly, caring and approachable person with a spontaneous (sense of humour) and adventurous personality. My family and friends value my honesty and trust.

I love hiking and going for long walks in the country. I also play badminton on a regular basis to keep myself healthy and active. Of course everyone loves to travel, and I have nearly finished my second travel diary - woohoo! I love exploring different countries, different cultures, different histories.

I like reading, poetry, playing the keyboard... to be honest, I am enjoy everything that is halal and am always up for an adventure.

I am a family orientated person yet at the same time an independent lady. I believe a good Muslim is one who has Deen and good character; I am trying to always better myself in these two aspects.

I work as a Research Scientist in Manchester, for the pharmaceutical industry, and for the University. I plan on continuing to work after marriage. Education is valued in our family, as is work, and I would like my partner to encourage that, and not the opposite. After starting a family however, my priority would be with the children full-time, and ONLY after they have grown up, and if I have time, inshaallah I would plan on working again.

My Hijab is very important to me; I wear it with the utmost respect and it comes as part of me. I expect my future partner to fully understand that.
