My name is David. . I converted to Islam back in March. I converted for one reason and one reason only-to become a better person and have a better relationship with God. Islam is a religion that requires much discipline from someone raised in a western culture or any culture for that matter. I'm not great muslim by any means, but I strive to be better. its a huge change for me. I'm a very free spirited,kind, and funny person with a big heart and I love children. I am looking forward to Ramadan for I think It will help me become closer to God. He wants me to try my best and If i am not perfect he will forgive me for my shortcomings. I continuoly try to learn more about Islam. Allah is oft forgiving and he sees the good heart I have and will aid me with resisting the temptations of sin.
