A Little Bit About Me
Do you dread getting older? 40 and beyond, has made me wise(r). I'm grateful for the 'good' and 'bad' experiences of life to date.

My free time is usually spent in
- learning,
- exploring, and
- keeping fit.

God-consciousness and sacred knowledge are key to me. Otherwise, we are treading the earth, like you might do a dark alley. I practise Hanafi fiqh, spiritually inclined and send salawat to the Beloved One (pbuh).

Sort of adventurous, and at times, a little spontaneous. Up for a walk, trek, climb or drive. Usually go abroad once a year. I've been and seen enough without leaving my carbon footprint all over the place.

I enjoy cardio-type activities. This has always been the case, since quite young. And though it does get boring at times, I use music to keep me moving. Music, unfortunately is my vice. I do still guard much of what I hear/listen to. I do also protect much of what I view, thus I don't watch television nor on social media.


With time, I've become stronger and perhaps more prudent. I don't give in to desires such as eating out, binging on a trifle or buying another pair of trainers as easily as I used to. Trivial but important to point out.

Time has sharpened my focus on the realities of the world. I've removed many distractions. It may be rewarding to spend the remainder, in the service and company of a good and whole-some man. So, what am I looking for in a husband?

What I Am Looking For

I'm looking for a soul-connection, a type of magnetism - which I know exists, but very difficult to find.

A husband is supposed to be the leader of his family. So, I want a husband, who
- serves God and His creation,
- values His Beloved One (pbuh),
- unafraid to make decisions and,
- is able to consult and protect the interests of his loved ones.
At this age, he should be wise, mature but can be fun. Being a practicing person doesn't make you boring, boring and boring.

Some physical attraction is needed, though not a priority for me. However, I will stress that it's important an individual looks after his physical health and eat and drink well. It's good to train and it's not always about the aesthetics. Mental and emotional stability is a must. I value my sanity and prefer it to be undisturbed. I will not be offended if I'm not your type, as I'd expect the same back. I hardly wear make up and I believe it has worked in my favour.

Accountability is key. We will all be asked about every second and how we spent it, each day. I want to be with one, who is engrossed in prayer and dhikr, and ensuring his worldly affairs are mostly in tact before taking flight for the real one.
To emphasise, I am anything but perfect. However, I try to go towards goodness and, I value the creation I've been moulded into. I'd like to be with someone who understands the true meaning of working in this life, in order to live peacefully in the next one.
