A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaykum,
I am a calm, peaceful and generally introverted individual. Islam means a lot to me, and I try to practice it as best as I can. I enjoy spending time with family, travelling, nature, reading/writing, and most creative pursuits.
Friends and family would say I am kind, caring, understanding, empathetic and thoughtful. I like to go out of my way to make others happy, and I enjoy giving thoughtful gifts.
I am a realist though a romantic at heart, and it would be nice to find someone the same. (Someone who I can watch the sunset with, the ocean waves with, go on romantic walks with, explore the world with!) Yes, I do love the beach and the ocean :)
I would say I am the deep thinking type, and can sometimes drift off into my own little world in my head, but I am also quite driven, and ambitious and have a hard working attitude towards most things.
I like to think of myself as quite balanced, I enjoy spending time with others, but equally enjoy moments of solitude. I enjoy keeping active and keeping myself busy, but equally enjoy spending time at home reading a good book etc.
Health is really important to me too, and I like to take care of my health physically and mentally.
I can be quite quirky/geeky/witty and enjoy having intellectual conversations.
In my spare time, I like reading books on various genres. I am particularly into books focusing on Islam, Spirituality, Psychology, Personal Development etc. I also love poetry and quotes.
P.s I do not listen to music, celebrate Prophets Birthday etc, and my intentions on here are to find someone for marriage purposes only.
If I meet someone compatible, I would prefer a meeting, and parental involvement.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for someone:
* Practising and spiritual, who fulfils at least the minimum obligatory duties.
* Independent (willing to live independently), yet family orientated
* Intelligent/Curious who has a thirst for seeking Islamic knowledge and interested in personal development and who can accompany me to various courses/Islamic lectures
*Adventurous/likes travelling and exploring, and open to new experiences such as relocating abroad temporarily or permanently.
(I travel quite frequently, as it is a part of my lifestyle, not just a hobby, so would suit someone with a similar lifestyle. Maybe someone who is self-employed/freelancer or who travels as part of their job, or someone who travels more than the average person!)
* Kind, caring and soft hearted.
* Helpful and supportive (emotionally, and physically, such as helping out with household duties, etc) I would like my future husband to be a good listener who can offer his strength and support to help me through any difficult times through words, affection and his presence.
* With big dreams/ambitions to serve/benefit the Ummah and humanity, and who will support me with my dreams.
* I am physically attracted to (though beauty is in the eye of the beholder!)
* Fun-loving personality and a sense of humour is a bonus :)
In short, someone I feel compatibility, connection and chemistry with on a physical, mental, emotional and a spiritual level, ie my soulmate :)
