A Little Bit About Me
I'm 32 and a single parent who reverted to Islam about a year ago. I try to take steps daily to bring me closer to Allah, but I still have a lot of work to do.
I'm passionate about everything that I do, and I believe that people should keep their word. If you don't want to hear the truth, don't ask me!!!
What I'm passionate about: raising my son up right, politics, music, reading, and I'm sure some other things. I'm opinionated and loud, but loyal and compassionate too. (And I'll put this out there, that I cuss a lot. I will work on it, but it's doubtful I'd ever stop. I smoke, too, but not much.)
As far as hijab goes... I'm open to wearing one, though I do not now. Also- I can't cook to save my life. I could try to learn, though!

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a man that wants a life partner, somebody that is stronger than me, but doesn't try to overpower or rule me. It's okay if you've been married, have kids, live overseas, that's all open to discussion.
I'm not interested in having somebody standing over my shoulder all the time sucking his teeth and telling me that I shouldn't do that and this, I want somebody who trusts me to do the right thing.
