A Little Bit About Me
First, the boring/logistical stuff:
I am an Afghan-American. I am twenty-four years old and currently enrolled in law school. I come from a moderately religious family that values education. I am goal-oriented, intelligent, funny/witty, and social.

I would like to think that I am pretty balanced in my life. I uphold my religious values to the best of my abilities, while integrating myself within "western" society. God is always on my mind, and Islam guides most of what I do. That being said, I am definitely still more of a spiritually-religious type of gal (what does this entail? Message me, and I will further explain!)

I am definitely a fun person to be around. I love cracking jokes, making witty comments, having a good laugh, and just enjoying life. At the same time, I can be very serious when it comes to my future goals. Being a law student, I aspire to do great things with my future, iA.

I am on this website simply because I'd like to try a non-traditional approach to finding a spouse. I am hoping that I come across that special someone that I normally would not run into in my everyday life.

What I Am Looking For
In this order:

1.) Attraction: So, before you think I'm totally shallow...hear me out lol. By "physical attraction," I don't mean that the brother has to look airbrushed! I simply want someone that I can see myself living with. If I am not attracted to someone, then it really doesn't matter his background/religiosity/personality/etc. This factor is definitely not the ONLY thing I look for; however, it is definitely something that is important to me.

2) Personality: I find intelligence and humor to be extremely important. If I cannot "click" with someone intellectually, then I probably would not mesh well with that person. I would love a spouse that is easy going, down-to-earth, funny, and knowledgable.

3). Religiosity: You might be wondering why this factor was not number one...In my opinion, there are plenty of brothers out there that are extremely religious (which is great); however, not all of them can be a good match for me. So, even though I place great value on religiosity, I do not believe that it is the first thing I look at. When it comes to religion, I look for someone who is moderate and understanding.

4) Career: As the main bread-winner in the family, I strongly believe that a man should have some sort of career aspiration/goal/job. Enough said :)

Lastly, and probably most importantly, I just want a good person. I want to have a genuine and healthy relationship with my husband. I hope that my future marriage is drama/stress/hardship-free iA!
