A Little Bit About Me
It is very hard to describe oneself but I will try my best knowing that how I am and how I perceive myself is not only transient, evolving with time and personal development, but others’ perception of me will also vary from individual to individual. People consider me to be caring, kind, affectionate, considerate, empathetic, understanding, straightforward, insightful, and inquisitive. I would describe myself as someone who is not monolithic, whose character is not entirely fixed as I am different in relation to the social context and individual with whom I am conversing. I lean more towards being open-minded, loyal and committed. I am eager to learn and grow, enrich myself with good qualities that are in accordance with the Shariah and am hoping to find someone who would be able to help me achieve this through their deen and good character.
I am not very career-orientated but would prefer my husband to give me the option to work should the want arise within me. I would rather use this time to seek Islamic knowledge particularly that which is obligatory, do educational courses or voluntary work that will enhance my skills, provided that these activities do not go against the wishes of my husband and do not jeopardize my duties as a wife and mother as that is something I value more and would give greater priority, emphasis and importance to.
My general interests and activities include doing girly things, shopping, dining, watching movies, long walks, viewing scenery, cooking, learning about other cultures, spending time with family, learning Islamic knowledge, contemplating/reflecting, working on self-development. I take joy in the small every day pleasures in life, I delight in the small blessings in life that no money can buy. I have not travelled much but I really love the idea of doing so.

What I Am Looking For
I am ideally looking for a spouse who is practicing to the best of their ability and for whom Islam is a way of life. However, having stated this, if someone came to me with good character and a slight willingness to practice the deen, I would prefer this person over someone who has deen but coarse character.
I was sadly married for 6 months technically. It has made me learn alot about myself. Most importantly, it has made me realise that what I truly want is someone who will love me and accept me for who I am (albeit encouragement for development is welcome), someone who truly enjoys my company.
I am ideally seeking someone who is patient, understanding, talkative, supportive, nurturing, compassionate, kind-hearted, straight-forward, easy-going, caring, affectionate, someone loyal and committed.
Someone who is appreciative of a simple quiet wife in companionship, and the small everyday pleasures in family life and every day life.
