A Little Bit About Me
All praise belongs to Allah.

I want to be a good husband, father and brother. However, easy to write, while living it is tougher. I want us close to Allah in the next life, starting already in this one. But, it is easier said than done. The Day of Judgement is getting closer, and I don't have all the answers. What I do know though, is that we can be successful, by focusing on what matters...

Allah says what can be translated to "whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed achieved a great victory" (33:71). It is sufficient to be a Muslim and I don't label myself with anything else. I strive to follow the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ according to the understanding of the Sahabah. And I accept that the four Madhahib are a part of this religion. I ask Allah to make me balanced and to protect me from falling into any misguidance whether it be liberalism, sectarianism, extremism, innovations, etc. Islam is a big part of who I am and I have a big love for islamic knowledge. I want to devote my time, energy and money to worship Allah and to establish His religion in myself, around me and ultimately everywhere.

I'm an ambitious yet simple man. I enjoy living a natural and healthy lifestyle. I try to be grateful both if Allah gives me a little or a lot. Everything is from Him. I don't like materialism and I'm very inclined to the concept of "Essentialism" (search for it on Youtube or read the book by Greg McKeown). I'm easy going but stay loyal to my core principles. Mostly kind and like to have a good time but firm when appropriate. I'm an introvert that knows how to socialize and can really appreciate an intellectual conversation. I'm usually straightforward and have a difficult time with people that lie or run their mouth without making sense. I do prefer few close friends over many loose acquaintances. I believe in being positive and really dislike when people are negative. And I'm really into personal development.

I'm looking for you if Allah is the number one priority in your life. All people have shortcomings and I do not expect you to be perfect. What I do want though is that you strive to be a better Muslimah all the time. You should be content and happy with how Allah created you and the role He gave you and the status He gave your husband. You should be feminine without any inferiority complex. Characteristics that I cherish are that you are submissive, respectful, easy-going, positive, supportive, affectionate, loving, gentle, merciful, forgiving and that you want to build a family around tranquility and the pleasure of Allah.
