A Little Bit About Me
Salam everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I joined this website hoping to meet someone compatible with me.
I am a Bengali girl raised in Canada. I came here when I was 7 years old . I am very close to my family and I enjoy spending time with them. They are the most important people in my life.
In terms of my personality, I think I am an easy going person. I am usually pretty comfortable around people and consider myself social. However I don’t necessarily see myself as a talkative person, unless I’m with my close friends. I believe I am a responsible and a sensible person. I am not crazy about shopping but once in awhile I do like to treat myself. I enjoy going out with my friends for dinner and chit chat about anything and everything. I love adventures and traveling.
My parents are very traditional and practicing Muslims. I am not as traditional as them, but I try to incorporate the important aspects of our culture in my life. I am also not a perfect Muslim, I do attempt to pray 5 times a day, but do miss it sometimes. I always fast and try to dress as modestly as possible. I do not wear a hijab, but I have the intention of wearing it one day InshaAllah. I really try to live a balanced life by being independent, open-minded and by following the teachings of Islam.

What I Am Looking For
A man who is respectful and family oriented, enjoys little things in life, someone out going, mature and responsible, practicing Muslim( at least believes in Islam and intends to improve) and lastly who has a good sense of humor.

A man who will be there for me , love me unconditionally, accept me for my flaws and appreciate me.

I know the list seems very long hehe. I am not looking for someone who will possess all those qualities, but someone with similar values and beliefs as me. Chemistry and mutual attraction between two people are also very important. If two people can't click then it becomes very difficult to maintain a good relationship despite having everything else.

I believe marriage is all about compromise and respect. If two people love and respect each other, they can conquer anything. :)
