A Little Bit About Me
I would describe myself as a confident, content and laid-back person. I enjoy travelling and am not interested in five-star luxuries and designer things. I look for much more of an authentic and cultured experience than that. My outlook on life is based more on Islamic and British principles as opposed to traditional Asian culture.

Islam plays an important role in my life. I have a keen interest in Tassawuf and am hoping to learn Arabic in the near future. I always look to improve my knowledge of Islam and have attended several educational and residential retreats. I also practice dhikr and celebrate the blessed birth of the Prophet (saw).

In my spare time I take part in both community and charity based projects. In the past this has included feeding the homeless and giving clothing to the needy. I also enjoying doing sponsored runs and treks.

I am a family orientated person. I enjoy organising large family get togethers whenever I can. In my opinion stability and fairness within a family are essential in shaping an individual's outlook on life.

For me, marriage is about a commitment to support and celebrate one another through life.
