A Little Bit About Me
Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem.

Asalaamualikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Jazakallah for taking the time to read through my profile. I am aware that it is a bit lengthy, but I felt it is important to be transparent.

I am following my Master Degree (MBA) in Business Management and I am in the process of completing a post graduate programme in Islamic Finance Alhamdulliah. In addition, to degree (BSc) in intl business and management have completed another couple of UK based professional qualifications as well. Alhamdulliah, I have received numerous awards and prizes for the for the above. In addition, I was the youngest member in the national council for several years.

I do not have any siblings and am the only child to my parents. I am very family oriented person and am close to my family members.

I am easy going, talkative and take interest in many things. I love to hang around with people especially with ones who are close to me. I like taking part in quiz competitions and Alhamdulillah have won several national level quizzes.

I love pets and we have a cat bossing us all at our home and all of us adore him a lot.

From my younger years, my mother has instilled the virtue and importance of marriage in my heart. She always thought me that inshallah Allah swt grants me a new family (not just a blessed spouse) from a marriage. As such, I shall treat the family of my spouse with the same love and courtesy I extend towards my family. Also, I have been taught that my spouse would have been the apple of her parent's eyes and princess in the kingdom called 'her home'. As such I have been taught to make my spouse more happier than what she was at her home (and make her parents happy too) and that is how Allah measures the success of me being a husband inshallah.

Allah swt has blessed myself and my life and has granted numerous bounties for which I am eternally thankful to him. Being flexible is a virtue that Allah has granted and I promise that inshallah all my life decision will be taken in consultation with my spouse and her wishes would be given paramount importance in every single decision I make. Inshallah I shall respect her individuality, her likes/dislikes, wishes and inshallah she shall have the same (or more) freedom to do things as she pleases in a halal way. Making a spouse happy and helping her achieve her dreams is a part of being a good husband too.

Closeness to Allah and family are important factors in my life. I strive hard to become a better Muslim each passing day by taking baby steps towards being close to Allah.

I worked as a Senior Associate VP for the most reputed research firm in Sri Lanka working with some of the largest institutions in the world. I have plans to move into Management Consulting/FMCG and inshallah eventually start my own firm. I work as consultant for firm which gives me flexibility.

However, coming to Australia has changed me in many different ways. I began to see the other side of the world and the most important thing is it makes me closer to the Allah Almighty. He has opened my heart and eyes to see the true beauty of Islam and embracing it in a whole.

Following the commandments of Allah is important to me and I strive to become a better Muslim each passing day by taking baby steps that would enable me to be closer to the creator.

I am looking for a muslima to complete half our deen and to help me, herself, our families & our offspring to attain jannathul firdous.

What I Am Looking For
First and foremost, I would like to seek a muslimah who always leads me to Allah and guide myself, herself, our families and inshallah offspring in the future towards the path of Allah and eventually to jannathul firdous. . I am still in the process of becoming a better muslim so I hope she also will be thirst in gaining more knowledge about Islam.

I would prefer a spontenous outdoor extrovert girl who loves to enjoy every single moment Allah swt has given us. Would like a person who would wake up and is up for for trip or or an outdoor adventure

In addition, I look for a muslimah with whom I could make a raise a good family and make a serene home for us to dwell in.

A muslimah with a good sense of humor is definitely a bonus.

Among His signs is [the fact] that He has created spouses for you among yourselves so that you may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has planted love and mercy between you; In that are signs for people who reflect. Quran [30 : 21]

He has planted affection and mercy between you. Quran [30: 12] and says: They are a garment for you and you are a garment to them. Quran [2 : 187]

The best garment is the garment of God-consciousness. Quran [7 : 26] It requires that a husband and wife should be as garments for each other. Just as garments are for protection, comfort, show and concealment for human beings, Allah expects husbands and wives to be for one another.
