A Little Bit About Me
I have tried to think hard in order to write something really interesting here about myself, but I can't think of anything interesting! So in a nutshell I'm pretty much an ordinary person, which I hope is a good thing.
I would like to say that I am patient, kind, funny and compassionate, well I pray and hope that I am these things!
My spare time is spent with family and friends usually going out to eat or to the cinema, I have recently got into the theatre. I would love to do some travelling if circumstances allow.
I come from a relatively educated and religious background and it’s two things that I feel are important for me to find in a spouse for compatibility reasons.
I’m a pharmacist by profession and by now I have spent a large proportion of life doing this, I hope that I bring a small difference to peoples lives through this. I’m not career driven at all and family will be my priority but I would like continue working maybe part time, to keep those brain cells ticking, again this would be dependant on the circumstances.
I would potentially like to maintain close ties with my husband family, I have grown up amongst my paternal side of the family and although at the time I probably did not realise how fortunate I was to have this blessing. I would also hope that my own children would experience this blessing too insha-allah.
We are an Urdu speaking family, although my Urdu really does need to be worked on. We originate from India but also have family in Karachi.
What I Am Looking For
Religion is important to me and I would like to marry somebody who prays five times a day, adheres to the other pillars of Islam and is striving to better themselves religiously. I do not believe in khatams, pirs, taweez’s or milaads, I am therefore looking for someone who does not do these either.
I am looking to get married to an honest person, who holds family values close to his heart and believes that a marriage can be built on mutual kindness. Somebody who wants to create a islamic, happy and stable home with me within which we and any future children will flourish insha-allah.
