A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
People seeking happiness are probably of two kinds:
.. seekers of the short-term happiness, who follow their nafs and want to be satisfied immediately without thinking about the consequences of disobeying Allah or hurting others' feeling.
.. seekers of the long-term (eternal) happiness, who chose Allah's pleasure over their own nafs, who wants to feel contentment through Allah's pleasure and do not intent to hurt others; they pray, obey Allah and believe in that the ultimate happiness is from alone Allah.
And the seekers of long-term happiness through pleasing Allah, are truly the people with humanity and kindness. Allah knows best.
Someone asked Hassan Al Basri: "What is the secret of your piety?"
He replied, "I understood 4 things:
1. I understood my rizq (provision) cannot be taken by anyone so my heart is content.
2. I understood that no one can do my actions (worship) for me, so I started doing them myself.
3. I understood Allah (swt) is watching me, so I felt shame to do any wrong.
4. I understood death is waiting for me so I started to prepare for my meeting with Allah (swt)."
“If we had perfect power to determine our destinies, and perfect vision to see the future and know what is best for us, we would choose exactly the fate that Allah has chosen for us.” – Imam Al-Ghazali (ra)
"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." [2:214]
"...whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent." (Qur’an, 65:2-3)
"Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion." [3:185]
I strive to please Allah (swt) and want someone who has Taqwa.

"Women of purity are for men of purity and men of purity are for women of purity." (Qur'an 24:26)
The best description that I personally have ever read describing the closeness of the spouses to each other is the Qur'anic verse which says: "They are your garments and you are their garments." (Surah Al Baqarah, 2:187). Indeed, spouses are like garments to each other because they provide one another with the protection, the comfort, the cover, the support, and the adornment that garments provide to humans.
The relationship between the spouses is the most amazing of all human relations: the amount of love and affection, intimacy and closeness, mercy and compassion, peace and tranquility that fills the hearts of the spouses is simply inexplicable. The only rational explanation for these most amazing of all human feelings is that: it is an act of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, "And Allah has made for you Mates and Companions of your own nature ..." (Surah Al Nahl, 16:72)
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may dwell in tranquility with them and He has put love and mercy between your hearts: verily in that are signs for those who reflect." (Surah Al Rum, 30:21)
