A Little Bit About Me
Easy going, confident, fun and introspective with a good sense of humour.
Born and raised in the UK, I possess a positive outlook on life with a firm belief in the almighty and his plans for future, although I wish he would tell me them sometimes.
Culture and arts have always fascinated me, this has made me a keen traveller; I have a bucket list which is being worked through. I do find a sense of personal satisfaction in listening to, helping and supporting others.
I am family orientated and love spending quality time with the family when I’m back in the north east of England. Alhamdulillah I am blessed with my family and do appreciate the things they do to help and support each other.
In my spare time I like to exercise, watch movies/TV box sets, socialise with my friends, home improvements, cooking (yes, you read that right a man who knows what to do in the kitchen) and further my knowledge and skills. I have sky dived (once), Explored (Machu Picchu, Everest and the Galapagos) and survived the London Marathon (I’m not actually a runner I just wanted the medal).
I am learning more about the deen (this is a journey) and I strive to apply it to my life I’m not a finished article, this keeps me humble and accepting of others. I'm fully aware of the difference between deen and culture and was raised to be respectful but question and stand up when it was needed. This year the intention is to fulfil my obligation of the Hajj, in sha’Allah,
What I Am Looking For
A partner to enjoy life with and make it an adventure, so we can tell the grandkids. Ideally to be a confident woman who has a zest for life, knows her self-worth and doesn’t take herself too seriously.
We will be able to laugh, be supportive to each other through the thick & thin and help each other to discover and enjoy life. An active individual with a sense of adventure and curious nature would complement well.
There is no preference regarding nationality or caste as it is not as important as a kind heart, kickass personality and good morals/manners are much better.
The right companion will want to better themselves in deen and duniya. I am looking for someone who’s educated, driven and family orientated.
