A Little Bit About Me
I’m an I.T. professional (definitely not a geek or someone who’s going to fix your broken printer) with a calm and pleasant personality. I take pleasure from the simple things in life like family, friends and good food. I love to travel and have been fortunate to visit several countries as well as work abroad. I enjoy life and the usual social activities within the boundaries of Islam, have an interest in architecture and design, listen to a range of podcasts and enjoy connecting with nature via country walks and hikes.
I’m a dab hand at DIY, will do the heavy lifting even if it means putting my back out and will happily do other bloke type stuff like getting rid of spiders from the bath. I take a holistic approach to health and aim for a positive mindset, active lifestyle and a healthy diet (with the odd indulgence). I take care of my personal appearance and despite my age, am not so old looking that you'd be mistaken for my daughter.
Islam has and continues to be a lifelong learning journey for me, gives me focus, allows me to overcome problems, respect others and keeps me grounded. I take the moderate line and am not the type who’ll dress you in black from head to toe.
I am considerate, honest, dependable, trustworthy, respectful, financially secure (Alhumdolillah) and consider myself more than capable of protecting, providing and looking after a future partner. I have two grown-up daughters who live with their mother (one is currently studying away at University). This will give the space and freedom needed to enjoy married life with a new partner.
