A Little Bit About Me
I am a kind, sincere, thoughtful, accomplished woman, with a positive outlook on life. The glass is always half-full! Life is too short so I choose to enjoy it! Overall I am easy going person, who loves life and trying new things. Snow shoeing anyone?

I love being around people and making a positive impact. That’s why I chose to become an Occupational Therapist, so that I can interact with my patients on daily basis and encourage them to achieve their goals. I also volunteer with Syrian Newcomers and a non-profit organization that supports projects for orphan and destitute children.

In my free time, I workout 2-3 times a week, spend quality with family and friends; go out to dinner and movies. After a busy day at work I love to curl up with a good book or watch some TV. My dream is to travel the world. So far, I’ve been to Pakistan, the US, Spain Morocco,London and Paris. Insha Allah my next trip will be to Turkey.

My religion is important to me. I still have a lot to learn, but I am eager to learn more. At present, I pray 5 times a day, observe Ramadan etc. I also began wearing hijab 7 years ago, which has given me the opportunity to answer questions people have about hijab and Islam in general.
