A Little Bit About Me
36, born and brought up in Warwickshire but have lived in various places depending on where my job lands. Currently in Warwickshire for the past 4 years working as a Project Manager for a national social action charity.

I have an eclectic interest in book genres, movies and series. Though most of the time I do find myself attracted to thrillers and comedies. Recently started Audible and reading my first ever biography by Lee Mack. I usually hate biographies.

I'm on the journey of making food healthy. I do like the odd takeaway and love home made curries. But with having a double kidney and pancreas organ transplant, I'm very careful with salts and sugars. I don't keep away entirely, but I have been known to decline various dishes or snacks that I know are high salts and sugars for me.

As a Sociologist, people intrigue me. If something you say or do makes me curious or perks my interest, I will want to know more! I love learning new things that interest me. And no, I'm not talking about sports or knitting, I'm talking about facts. Knowledge and nuggets of information that people have about random things that they come across. The human mind is so powerful it most likely holds more gigabytes than your phone or laptop! I'm definitely one of those who loves an episode of Inside the Factory 🤓

I love a good conversation about anything and everything over several cups of tea or coffee. Most likely tea as too much coffee makes me sleepy🙈
And I love trying different halal cuisines. Ever tried Ethiopian food? Ethiopian coffee was quite an experience too. Mash'Allah was very tasty!

Islam is important to me. My faith in Allah is extremely important to me and brings me peace and tranquility. It also gives me a vision to focus on. I have my private prayer times, and yes I do pray my namaaz, though always have room for improvement. I'm not looking to becoming a female scholar or anything, but I do love learning new stuff about Islam. The main people I really listen to are Mufti Menk, Fatima Barkatullah and Naima B Robert's.

I don't celebrate Milaads and Khatams.

What I Am Looking For
Someone similar to me yet different. Preferably someone who is mentally and emotionally ready to be in a committed relationship, and willing to put in the effort to know someone in a halal manner. A conversationalist is a must. If you can't make decent convo, it's not going to work.

Someone who is in touch with Islam more and can keep away from cultural traditions and expectations. Must have a balance between religion and this world.

Someone who has the confidence to be supportive and understanding.

An alpha male that knows how to treat women right and respectfully. He would be my albatross.
