Sophistication is key, yet being a child is fun... so keeping a balance is the way to be.

I am religiously inclined and seek the same in a partner...someone who wants to grow together on this journey back to Allah; helping and supporting one another with love and understanding.

I love adventure and trying new experiences. I am an intellect and upon inspection I am a traditionalist at heart. Family values and good manners are very important to me. I come from a very loving and humble background; my family mean the world to me (Masha’Allah).

I have a good sense of humour, both witty and sharp. I love to travel and explore new places, so many places I would love to see. I enjoy good food and good company.

I love to learn, and regularly make an effort to attend study circles, and courses of sacred knowledge, and try my hand at a learning random things such as pottery or DIY i.e putting up a shelf etc. I enjoy attending retreats too. I wear a hijab but by no means am I perfect (even though I am, in fact I am totally awesome :-p ), I simply aspire to be a better Muslim and hope to find someone similar, who actively tries to make an effort. FYI – I am open to Mawlids and Khatams, but not particularly inclined to a traditional Pakistani mawlid, however, thoroughly enjoy the Shimmering Light gathering by Habib Umer.

What I Am Looking For
Someone actively making an effort to establish Islam in their life, a bonus if you have studied/studying some sacred knowledge (fard al-ayn 'obligatory knowledge' minimally.) Aged between 32-42 with a good balance of deen and dunya.

A God fearing, educated, well spoken intellect to appease the mind. Someone open minded, family orientated, honest and humble, with a good sense of humour and good manners. A cultured professional who is ideally a British citizen with a hands on approach. Someone considerate and caring to feed the soul and heart.

N.B. If you are looking for someone who will continue to be more career driven than focussed on family responsibilities after marriage, then I may not be the right person for you.

DISCLAIMER: Please bear in mind I had trauma to the eye when I was a child, as a result I am blind in my left eye.
