A Little Bit About Me
Bismillah

Assalamu Alaikum WRWB! I'm a 24-year-old Midwestern-turned-Southern Bangladeshi-American girl who is inshaAllah ready for marriage. My faith is incredibly important to me, I pray 5 times a day alhamdulillah, eat zabihah, read Quran and wear hijab as well as dress modestly. I strive to do more than the bare minimum by trying to live by Quran and Sunnah. I make it a point to fast Mondays and Thursdays (when I can), seek out and attend Islamic talks from Islamic scholars and teachers as well as uphold other sunnah practices. I also try to make sure I'm adhering to the same standards I set for my future spouse so that there is no double standard inshaAllah. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, traveling, reading, personal development, video making, baking, and painting. In University, I was involved in coordinating events for MSA Sisters and want to be more involved in my local Muslim community post-covid. I have two older sisters (married) who are in Software Development and currently live with my amazing parents, alhamdulillah.

Overall, I want to keep learning, growing, and improving in all aspects of my life.

What I Am Looking For
I am seeking someone who is emotionally intelligent, communicative, empathetic, respectful, honest, and has a sense of humor. Someone on his deen to the best of his ability: praying on time, no smoking/vaping/drinking, lowers their gaze online and in real life, and earns halal income. Someone who is continuously and actively striving to better himself in his imaan and goes beyond the bare minimum of Islam as I believe Islam delves into all aspects of our daily lives. I expect my partner to understand that a spousal relationship is based on mutual respect, love, and mercy. Also, someone who has a good relationship (or actively strives to) with their family and all those around them, someone who knows when to be serious or playful, and tries to help their community somehow (or wants to in the future).
