A Little Bit About Me
A bit about me. My main hobbies are writing, gaming, and cooking. I love to hang out and watch bad movies with friends. I have a bachelor's in health communication, and am currently working in accreditations (basically making sure licenses and certifications are up to date).

I try my best to be a good person, helping others where I can. I consider myself to be very strongly left leaning. I have more friends who are LGBTQ than those who are cis and het and strive to improve my understanding of those who are different from me. I have ADHD and take mental health and intellectual developmental disorders very seriously.

I adore puns and dad jokes. Get used to them if you're around me. Most nights, I'm hanging out with friends, playing video games and tabletop games like d&d, watching something good, or making fun of something bad. Honestly I get more entertainment out of terrible movies these days.

My favorite thing at the moment is the Kingdom Hearts series. I adore the games way too much and can talk about them forever. I fully plan to cosplay the next time I go to a convention. The Pokemon series would be my second favorite. My list includes but is not limited to Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, most of Nintendo and anything anime, uh... Yeah there's plenty I'm missing and likely many favorites I don’t even know about yet.

I currently weigh about 275 pounds. I had gastric bypass surgery in the past and lost a ton of weight but have since plateaued and gone back up a bit. I’m getting back into eating healthy and going to the gym though.

I'm am a pet person. I don't have any at the moment but would love anything from a cat or dog to reptiles. Probably just not fish or birds again.

What I Am Looking For
What I want to find in a partner is, more than anything, a friend. Someone with the same interests and views, who I can get along with and truly want to be around. I want a relationship where we don't just tolerate each other but truly enjoy some of our weirder aspects. A person who encourages me to constantly improve and strives to do the same while still showing appreciation for each other. I am close to my family but they can be... A lot. In my experience that's pretty standard of Arab families but I feel like it's fair to give a warning. I do want kids one day, but only when my partner and I feel we're ready for them. If you wear glasses, and like cosplaying, going to cons, and doing other “nerdy” things then that’s always a plus.

Dealbreakers would be conservative viewpoints, smoking, drinking, not wanting kids or not wanting to get married soon (my profile does say as soon as possible after all), and not having any common interests.
