A Little Bit About Me
My Fun Side:
I practically have an interest in everything you can imagine due to my exposure throughout my life and for this I am truly grateful to my family, friends and Allah.
From listening to artists such as Sade, Kendrick Lamar, Kaur B, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Badshah, Stormzy to genres such as Arabic, Indian, Qawali, Salsa, UK Garage to rock music, if it has a beat, then I am tapping my feet.
I enjoy the arts, I would rather spend time in a gallery then spend hours on contouring my face. I enjoy watching various shows, to admiring street art to listening to Coke Studio to learning how to sew (always a plus point with the future mother in law)
I am someone who will put on a classic Pakistani film (Mola Jat of course) to watching the latest Marvel film (saving the pennies for when the box set comes out) I enjoy watching various programs from documentaries, to EastEnders to Say Yes To The Dress (no hint of course) to watching Netflix programmes such as Power, Narco’s to Sacred games, who doesn’t like a bit of Netflixing?!
From discussing Brexit with work colleagues to enjoying Pakora on a rainy day, to catching up with friends to watching F1 to walks, to trying to get healthy, I believe regardless of who you are, enjoy life, give back, be grateful and mostly smile – it’s not going to cost you.
What I Am Looking For
My Serious Side:
POLITE NOTE: I am genuinely looking for marriage and no one from abroad please, only UK based and those who have a picture which is not hidden and please be so courteous as to reply back to a message, even if to say no, we are all on here to find someone and basic manners is greatly appreciated, thank you.
I have been through some challenges in my life and will continue to do so, but I am ready to settle down and I know what I want. Life is about balance and compromise and in a relationship there has to be give and take and it has to be equal and I believe there is some basic stuff that should be the foundation of a relationship and this is what I am looking for in my future partner,
Respect – regardless of what you or I do or what backgrounds we come from, or what jobs we do or what our position in society is, respect has to be earned not assumed.
Trust & Honesty – such a fragile thing, but if we are not honest or genuine from the beginning, then the cracks will appear and no matter how much you try to smooth it over, they will remain until it is built again.
Understanding & Compromising – OK I promise not to stop you from seeing the lads on a Wednesday night, and I wont talk too long on the phones to my mates – it is important to have individual personalities but also to understand that we do not need to live in each other’s pockets all the time, but to also be there for when the chips are down.
Communication – yes I can talk and yes I can switch off, but how will I know if you like Gulab Janum or Rasmalia? Talking does not always need to be serious, but it is important to also know that without any hesitation we can express our feelings and to be honest – as it is the best policy.
Families – there will be no your mum or my mum, but our families, our mums, our dads, our pain but we love them in the backside siblings, because if you and I become we, then whatever we have becomes each others and plus it would be cool to have 2 mother in laws.
Please do message me if you are serious about settling down, however regardless if you do or not, I hope I have put a smile on your face…
