A Little Bit About Me
Salaam,

I'm 43, single, never married and no children. I'm frequently asked why I've never been married at my age, well that's simply because I haven't met the right man and that's the only reason. I refuse to just get married because time is ticking and because society dictates that I should be married at my age. This will only happen when I meet someone compatible.
I consider myself a pretty strong character, who stands her ground and can be straight forward but at the same time who has a huge heart. I enjoy the simple things in life very much, I am independent and self reliant. I can have a pretty dry sense of humour and have a tendency to laugh at my own jokes ????, with a total stupid side I admit, and just enjoy laughter with lots and lots of banter. I'm extremely caring, compassionate, thoughtful, but sometimes too honest for my own good :/. I thrive from helping others, some less fortunate and I believe 'good deeds' are extremely important especially in this day and age. It doesn't take much to listen to others or even be kind to a stranger, you don't walk in their shoes and it could make all the difference to them.
I have recently started to practice moderately and wish to learn further. In my opinion knowledge is power which cannot be taken. I would like to become the best version of me inshallah. I guess I've always been searching for the 'peaceful' life and have now realised that that will only happen when my bond with Allah (SWT) is strong and unbreakable.
People ask why no pictures on display? Well they are available on request and only if your willing to swap pictures too. I'm pretty weary as I've previously had a negative experience concerning pictures.
If your first message to me is 'any pictures?' Or 'wow your tall' then please don't. Yes I have pictures which I will share in due course. I understand there has to be an initial attraction, but I'd also like to think that there's more than just looks to a person. This doesn't mean a person is not attractive, I'm sure everyone is attractive in their own way (well that's what all mothers have told all their children????). It would just be nice to exchange messages without someone going on about your pictures or judging you on just your looks. A woman's morales, standards and mindset will determine how her children are raised. I guess those are the aspects which will make her a good wife, good parent and great role model. Not her looks and great body. I don't make that statement because of insecurities, but because even I have realised that yes there needs to be an attraction and connection but it is possible to love a person's mind more than anything else.
Im not looking to waste anyone's time or have my time wasted. Time is precious and will never return so I would rather use my time productively and wisely and on those people who deserve my time.
My profile may come across quite straight forward for some of you, but I guess when you have interracted with some not so nice characters in the past you tend to lose patience and refuse to waste time with the wrong individuals. Don't be scared, I actually do have a heart and laugh a lot ????.

Ok, ok, maybe it wasn't that brief ????, but I thought I'd try and cover as much ground as I could so not to waste time really.

What I Am Looking For
I'm looking to get to know someone humble, decent and genuine and take it from there.
Someone intelligent, savvy, compassionate, knowledgeable, with a sense of humour, a stupid side, fun, zest for life, spontaneous, thoughtful and considerate, understanding, very patient, with morales, values, family orientated, and someone who can be my best friend. Oh and would need to have just a stronger character than me, to put me in my place from time to time I guess ????.
