A Little Bit About Me
I am a Revert who still has a lot to learn and am looking forward to continually learning for the rest of my life. Insha'Allah. I like to stay active and find little adventurous things to do. I grew up in Florida and was a little surfer/beach brat and love most anything on on the water. I rowed crew for my college and city team and I hope to continue row again for the city team next season.

I was a meteorologist in the Marines for five years and so that is partly why it is taking me so long to get to grad school.

I unfortunately went through a divorce due to her not being tolerant or understanding of my decision to follow Islam. But I am looking forward (Insha'Allah) to finding the one that Allah has chosen for me to spend my life with. I know that it will be tough for many to get over that issue among other things that may come with me being a Revert, but if it is in His plan I know that all will be O.K.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for someone to share everything in life with. I would like someone that not only will be my romantic partner but my best friend, my greatest support and my confidant as I would want to be for them. I would like someone that shares a desire to stay active as I do and not be afraid to try new things, places, and cultures. Someone that is sociable, friendly, caring, loving and tolerant of others. Someone that is not uptight and can roll with life and situations when they do not go as planned. Additionally someone that is not overly self-centered, someone that is honest if not to a fault and grounded in who they are. And a big pet peeve of mine is girls that blast social media instead of enjoying the moment (I would like to take in what we are doing and enjoy my dinner before it gets cold, haha). Continuing with the social media, I cannot accept if a girl is constantly looking for or does not discourage negative attention from guys on social media, or in person for that matter.
