A Little Bit About Me
Alhamdulillah, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend Islamic schools since pre-school until high school where I learned a lot about Islam, besides being raised by devoted Muslim parents since birth. I may be performing my salah (prayer) 5 times a day, reciting the Quran, fasting in every Ramadan and wearing hijab but despite all of that, I don't consider myself as a good Muslim. I haven’t completely practice everything in the Quran and Hadith yet. There are lots of things in me that need to be improved and changed and I wish someday I could become a real good Muslima, inshaAllah.

What I Am Looking For
I’m not looking for someone who’s perfect like the walking Quran, our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) since I’m not as good as Khadija (r.a) myself. It’s unrealistic and arrogant to think that you deserve perfection because I believe everyone has flaws and shortcomings and should as well accept the imperfections of others.

I believe it would be enough if he's just someone saleh because my principle is simple; If a man is fear of Allah (s.w.t), in marriage he’d most likely be a responsible husband to his wife and family. And, I hope we could help each other to practice Islam in our daily life besides spreading this holy religion to others, inshaAllah.

We should study and fully understand the roles of husband and wife in Islam before we enter into marriage so we could fully prepare ourselves to build a good Muslim family without any side, husband or wife feeling like being oppressed. In Islam, there is no clash or competition between husband and wife. Both have unique roles. The Prophet (s.a.w) said, "Had it been permissible that a person may prostrate himself before another, I would have ordered that a wife should prostrate herself before her husband" (Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 285, narrated by Abu Hurayrah). Wife should obey her husband in all matters that Islam has permitted to the best of her ability - something that I would exactly like to adopt when I got married, inshaAllah. Hence, I pray that my husband-to-be is someone who’s worth my obedience.
