I recently moved from Washington, DC (to No.California) as my father had pancreatic cancer all of 2017. He died peacefully 7 mths ago. All praise to Allah for giving my father a quality 9 months of life as he did not suffer from severe pain. He was so brave and never complained and taught us many great lessons in life.

Prior to Dec, 2016, i lived in Wash DC and did international development work and worked for the Obama administration. I also worked extensively in Indonesia after the tsunami starting in 2005. I went to undergrad and graduate school in Los Angeles (not a good idea!) I have struggled and worked very hard to reach this stage of my life.I am open to *all practicing, moderate Muslims*. (and especially converts) My sister recently married in an Egyptian guy (though we are Pakistani) so a different ethnicity is not a problem for me, nor my family, alhamdulillah.

I love moderate Islam, animals, healthy foods, and international issues. I am looking to do Nikaah in the next few months insha'Allah, so serious inquiries only, please. And no 2nd wife inquiries, pls.
