MY DEEN

Iman

I study the Qur’an & hadith to deepen my knowledge & practice of deen.
I am also trying to memorise the Qur’an, Insha’Allah.


Salah

I pray the five obligatory (fard) prayers
I pray the five voluntary (nafl) prayers (e.g. Tahajjud).
I pray Salat-ut Tasbih.
I pray other optional prayers as required (e.g. Salat al-Kusuf etc.)


Zakat
--------
I pay my zakat obligations.
I give sadaqah as much as Allah (SWT) Gives me the ability to do.


Sawm
---------
I fast during Ramadhan as well as the six fasts of Shawwal.
I fast every 2nd day (like Dawud (AS)), including Mon/Thu like Rasulullah (ï·º)
I fast during the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah/Yaum Al Arafah
I fast during other optional days (e.g. Ashura)


Hajj
------
I have completed hajj, Alhamdulillah.
I have completed umrah several times, Alhamdulillah.


Marriage
------------
Marriage is half of the deen, and is the Sunnah of the Prophet. He who does not marry will not be of the ummah of Rasulullah (SAW) and will not be eligible to receive his intercession on Day of Qiyamah.
That is why I am hoping to get married, by the Grace and Mercy of Allah (SWT), Insha'Allah.
