A Little Bit About Me
I should probably say right now that i'm not a Doctor, Accountant or Lawyer!!!
My background is important to me, but not important enough to let it determine who i can and can not settle down with!
Its hard enough to find someone compatible so i'm not going to write anyone off just cos of that!!!

A very young 40 something (but as my nephew says, i'll never be a day ove r 29!!!). On the plus side, that does mean i know how to cook and use a Dyson....

Currently living in Abu Dhabi, UAE, but contemplating moving back to London....

Have previously lived in the USA when not in London...


(on the smoking front, go through phases, but it doesn't give an option of "occasional" so going for the honest answer of "yes" though I know it needs to go permanently! )

What I Am Looking For
someone to go to ikea with and bicker over what to buy and where it should go :-)

I've realised the more we put on the profile, the better it is for both of us...but these things come to you when you arent infront of the computer, so i've decided to just add a little every day!
So, here is a bit of what i'm looking for...

someone who can laugh, not only laugh at others, but have the ability to laugh at themselves...occasional manic hysteria is an added bonus :-)

someone who is confident and happy with themselves...

someone who can give as good as they get... (i guess this follows on from the being confident bit, though it should be known that i'm right about everything!)

someone who is young at heart...

someone who is as comfortable in her ragged jeans and a tshirt as she is all dressed up for a special occasion...

someone who doesnt feel she has to spend hours getting ready to go grocery shopping... ;-) (i am by know means implying you will be doing the shopping, i love doing the groceries...i'm just making a point!)

someone who also is happy with her own life, but is just looking to move on to bigger and better things... someone who will still go out with her friends every now and then...i'm a firm believer that two people in a marriage should also have their own lives....

if you're divorced, its really no big deal. obviously you've decided to move on, otherwise you wouldnt be here!
