A Little Bit About Me
AsalamuAlaikum Warahmatullah

Like for many, I am sure, describing yourself can be a bit of a challenge but here goes;

Bismillah

I was born and raised in London and currently reside on the outskirts of London, some may wish to call it Essex, I however prefer ‘outskirts of London’. I live in a very nice area with my family alhamdulilah. I am the eldest of three siblings, the youngest being the only boy. I live nearby a park and a few tasty restaurants!


I like to think of myself as an active Muslim who tries to pray 5 times a day and actively seeking knowledge. I have studied Arabic in the past, and would like to continue with at some point in the future InshaAllah. I enjoy listening and attending lectures which mainly focus on sahaba, Islamic and history and self development. I believe giving back to the community or being involved in an activity where society benefits as a whole is important for yourself as an individual, and also something that can really help boost your emaan. I have always tried to maintain a job which is reflective of this and hopefully inshaAllah will continue to do so.


I enjoy eating out, trying different food (exception of seafood, some say it’s a phobia :/) spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy baking, calligraphy and taking funny pictures of family and friends! I do enjoy a good film here and there (anything with zombies is good). In the future I would love to travel and visit places which are rich in Islamic history and possibly study and live there for a while.

I would describe myself as someone who is laid back, good sense of humour (very subjective!), friendly and caring. I guess I try to live my life in the best way I can and be the best Muslim and try to do everything to the best of my ability (May Allah accept from us all), learn and actively practice Islam trying to grow closer to Allah.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a partner who is conscious of Allah and someone who reflects often, prays 5 times day, constantly looking to improve himself in all aspects of life (deen and dunya) and inspires others around him also inshaAllah (in the best way possible).

A good sense of humour, down to earth is strong in his deen and family orientated; knows how to balance his time between family and friends.
