A Little Bit About Me
I'm straightforward and honest but a little shy to begin with, so I'm not great at making the first move! 

I live alone with my daughter who is just starting secondary school and I've been a housewife all my adult life until the breakdown of my marriage. I enjoy being a homebody, crafting, reading, occasionally baking, a little gardening and when circumstances allowed, I loved travelling the world. I also enjoy watching a good film of just about any genre other than horror (yes, I'm a wimp). I love the countryside, the beauty of nature and animals both domesticated and wild and along with my daughter, I share my home with a couple of pets who are absolutely adored and are therefore also part and parcel of my little family. 

I am not extremely religious but I have Islam in my heart. I believe ones faith comes from within and is not something we just show off to the world. I am a western woman and as such I don't like to try and fit into a mould. I am simply who I am, a British Muslima who would like the right person to come along and share his life with us.

What I Am Looking For
A person who follows the same path as myself so as not to cause conflict. 

Someone who is caring, considerate and wants to share his life with myself and my little girl. Someone who considers us an integral part of his life, who shares some of my interests and has a good sense of humour. Someone who can hold a conversation, can have fun and who enjoys family life.

A modern Sunni Muslim who even if he is not overly great at practising our religion (like myself) or who is a little more religious but who is not extreme in his views and is either a westernised Muslim or has a good balance between East and West. Someone who wouldn't cringe at the sight of a Christmas tree but who would only eat Halal. - A moderate person!

So if you fit the bill and are Hanafi, Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat / Barelvi, or have your foundations there, say “Hi” and you never know we might like each other!

I will happily share my photos as long as you do but please remember, attraction plays a part on both sides. 
I sometimes think it is better to look at photos first, (but please, at least send a short message with your request) then if either party is really not attracted to the other, it is perhaps a little easier to move on, with neither person having to fear overly hurting or upsetting anyone. Quite simply, we are not all each others types any more than we all enjoy the exact same food.


NB. I didn't join this site to find someone to have a “bit of fun” with, I joined to see if there was anyone who seriously would like to share his life with us, someone who likes me and I like him. If you're not seriously looking for someone whom you might like in your future as a permanent fixture then please do not contact me! As my profile states, I am blonde haired and blue eyed, that does NOT mean that I am either a pushover or a challenge! Some respect please, Gentlemen!!
