SingleMuslim.com poll: Muslim males prefer to marry younger

Survey results released today have revealed that 56 per cent of SingleMuslim.com members regard 25 as the ideal age for marriage. Almost 5,000 members responded to the recent poll, which asked: In your opinion, what is the ideal age for a Muslim to be married by?

It appears that male and female respondents were in agreement, with 25 being the most popular choice for both groups.

Interestingly, the second most popular response amongst men was to be married by 20, whereas women's second most popular choice was by age 30!

However, overall 95 per cent of respondents agree that Muslims should ideally marry young (by 30 years of age), with only 5 per cent preferring to be married by 35 or 40.
