Dear Sisters in Iman,

Thank you for taking time to read this profile, I pray that ALLAH, SWTA, leads us all to the goals we are seeking and Blesses us in what we find.

To tell you something about myself; I have been in Al-Islam since 1973. Al-Islam has shaped my adult life, I became an Imam in 1980. I delayed marriage, seeking the means to maintain a wife, until 1990. Although I had the means before that, the right woman was not available. My first wife, Khalidah came from a very strong COGIC background and she took shahadah on the day we were married. Her family fought against the marriage and her revision to Al-Islam, but she withstood the assault and became strong in her Deen. She returned to ALLAH December 17, 1993 at the age of 27. I love her and miss her to this day. A friend of mine passed away leaving a wife and 8 children, before he passed he asked his wife if she would consider marrying me. This occurred in 1999 and in 2000 I wed Ayesha and her 8 children. I have no children of my own but I love and am a father to Ayesha’s, she is 52 and past childbearing. Ayesha was in a polygamous relationship with her deceased husband and offered to take on a co-wife in order give me the chance to have children of my own. We agree that it is the women (wives) that make a polygamous relationship work and the man (husband) who must provide the means for it to work.
